As a Solution Architect at Corteva Agriscience, you will use your deep technical expertise to design technology solutions, provide technical strategy and roadmaps, and ensure effective integration of systems and data in service to our sales business needs. You'll work in a collaborative, team-environment in a product-oriented IT organization with a supportive leader. You will interact with a variety of stakeholders including vendors, Business Partners, Enterprise Architects, and Technical Product Managers.

How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you.

  • Design or review architecture and security design for new projects in the Sales product family, including both custom development and SaaS solutions to ensure enterprise architecture, key design principles, and standards are followed
  • Provide architecture, design and technical oversight for a large multi-team sales system, Connex, for our North America Seed business
  • Provide design guidance for integration with other related commercial systems and data such as eCommerce, digital marketing sites, and Salesforce
  • Ensure system, technical, product architectures are aligned with business objectives
  • Provide technical vision and strategy for Corteva’s commercial sales product family and interfacing applications by working with the Technical Product Manager, Solution Architects, and Lead Developers
  • Promote the company's technology brand through creative thinking and constantly raising the bar of what's possible
  • Partner with development teams to deliver project objectives through agile delivery by offering expertise in solution design
  • Identify risks or issues with technical solution and design which may impact realization of project benefits and provides guidance and support to stakeholders in making good decisions to resolve or mitigate potential risks or delays to the project
  • Work with internal teams to provide insight on complex internal technology matters
  • Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration
  • Stay informed of releases and acquisitions of packaged commercial software used to help drive the Commercial Sales product roadmap
  • Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in designing and engineering complex, high-quality IT solutions
  • Experience with sales data and integrations with enterprise-level applications
  • Experience designing solutions in Microsoft Azure with a cloud-first mentality
  • Experience with web UI frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Vue.
  • Experience in design, implementation, and deployment of scalable API services
  • Experience with software development life cycle processes or Agile development
  • Familiar with CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code
  • Knowledge of micro-services
  • Experience with .NET framework and C#
  • Preferences

  • Experience with mobile application development and web services
  • Familiar with mobile frameworks such as Xamarin, React Native, and Flutter
  • Experience working with Agile and product-oriented methodologies
  • Familiar with agriculture and ag business processes
